Results week

As results day draws closer, you might be feeling cool, calm and collected that you’ve done everything possible to get your grades. If like me, however, you might not be feeling so relaxed, so it might be a good opportunity to distract yourself with a bit of preparation for Uni.

Here are some of my tip tips for things to take with you

1) A nice set (or two of bed clothes). Two sets are really handy if you don’t have a tumble drier!
2) A kettle and some nice mugs. Pack a cafetiere if you are a coffee drinker like me. And a biscuit tin is essential
3) A lamp is really useful – your room is likely to be furnished very simply.
4) A dock and speakers are essential for your music
5) A laundry basket, hangers and plastic boxes are all so useful
6) See if you can get a parent or someone else to stock you up on essentials like washing up liquid and laundry detergent. Febreze is always handy, too.
7) You may like to take your own duvet and pillows
8) Take plenty of photos, pictures and posters to personalise your room
9) Not forgetting blu tak and drawing pins to put them up
10) And last but not least, for some essential kitchen kit ideas, take a look here.

And finally, try and relax a little. Whatever happens, it’ll all work out for the best.
